Eryri (Snowdonia) is one of the most photogenic locations in Wales. With its majestic mountains, glacial lakes, and atmospheric abandoned buildings, it truly is a landscape photographer’s paradise.
Join Ian Worth, Henry Turner, and up to seven other like-minded photographers for an adventure in the heart of Northern Snowdonia. Together, you’ll explore some of the region’s most iconic mountain scenery and experience the beauty and drama this landscape offers during one of the best times of the year — autumn.
This small group photography tour, limited to just eight participants, is a great opportunity to meet fellow photographers, create compelling images, and enjoy a memorable experience in one of the UK's most inspiring locations.
During the tour, we’ll visit stunning locations such as the iconic Ogwen Valley, Llynnau Mymbyr, and the Dinorwic Slate Quarry. It’s set to be a relaxed and enjoyable couple of days surrounded by inspiring landscapes.
This tour is suitable for all skill levels, whether you're just starting out and want to build a solid foundation, or you're an experienced photographer looking to refine your craft and add fresh images to your portfolio.

EQUIPMENT AND FITNESS.
Camera Gear
Bring your camera, memory cards, and a selection of lenses. The more variety you can manage, the better, but keep it practical as you'll be carrying everything with you. A tripod and any filters you regularly use are also recommended. If you don’t have a tripod or filters but would like to try them, let us know in advance and we can bring some for you to borrow.Outdoor Clothing
Sturdy boots and proper outdoor clothing are essential. Waterproofs, warm layers, gloves, and a hat will help keep you comfortable in all weather conditions.Fitness
A good level of fitness is important to get the most out of this tour. While we won’t be tackling anything extreme, you can expect walks of up to 2 to 3 hours each day on uneven and occasionally steep terrain. Some locations may involve climbing steps or navigating rough paths. If you’re unsure about the physical requirements, feel free to contact us before booking and we’ll be happy to chat it through.Travel - We may visit a few different locations during the day, depending on the weather and conditions. Although travel isn’t included in the tour, if you’re being dropped off and picked up and need a lift between locations during the session, just let us know and we’ll do our best to help.

Day 2 - We will visit the incredible Dinorwic Slate quarry.
